Microsoft to Sell Windows 10 on USB Flash Drives

With the first batch of new Windows 10 PCs from Microsoft’s partners like HP already up for pre-order and expected to ship by the second week of Windows 10’s availability and Microsoft giving every user with a valid Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 license a free upgrade, this is for those who wish to do a clean install of Windows 10 or upgrading from an unsupported version like Windows Vista.

As per the listing on Amazon, the pricing of Windows 10 on those USB flash drives won’t differ from that of other installation mediums. While pre-orders are currently open, shipping is expected to start by the end of August. The USB flash drives will also be available in other stores both online and brick and mortar as soon as Windows 10 is unveiled.
